We are pleased to have Jorge Heraud, CEO of Blue River Technology,  as a panelist for our first event of the season. Join us on September 15 for AgTech: Sandhill Bets on Precision Agriculture.   Blue River has a great story that you won’t want to miss and registration is now open.

Heraud’s experience at Trimble Navigation as the head of precision agriculture gave him strong roots in the agtech industry.  He met his co-founder Lee Redden while in graduate school at Stanford University.  During Steve Blank’s Lean Launchpad course, they were able to build and test their first prototype, a computer that could recognize distinct plants. With seed funding from several professors, Blue River Technology was born.

Blue River’s vision is to “build a future in which every plant counts – where the needs of each plant are precisely measured and delivered, significantly reducing chemical use.”  They are achieving their goal by continuing to pioneer this field by developing and testing new technologies.

Visit Blue River Technology’s website to learn more about their story, research and solutions. And attend our September event to learn more about how companies are using technology to  tackle the challenges of sustainability and increased production in an era where environmental changes, population growth, and available land are changing our agricultural heritage.

Come hear more from about Blue River Technology’s story and Jorge Heraud’s insights about the industry on September 15th at Stanford’s Cemex Auditorium.Get your tickets now >
