Anne Feldhausen, Hewlett Packard Marketing Manager for Green Business Technology Initiative
Anne Feldhusen is the Marketing Manager for HP's Green Business Technology Initiative. The initiative supports enterprise clients in achieving business outcomes while at the same time reducing environmental impact. Anne has held leadership roles in HP Services Marketing and Australia's field sales organization. In 2008, Anne launched HP’s first large-scale solar installation. Anne coordinated the award winning HP Green Business Technology Initiative.
Anne joined HP from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial management and industrial engineering from Purdue University.
Mamoon Hamid, Principal at U.S. Venture Partners specializing in Clean Tech
Mamoon joined USVP in 2005. At USVP, he focuses on cleantech, semiconductor and software investments. Mamoon led USVP's investment in Box.net, and serves on the company’s Board. He is also involved with USVP portfolio companies: CFX Battery, Superprotonic, Optichron, Supplyframe and Zannel. He is also an advisor to Yelp.Prior to joining USVP, Mamoon spent eight years at Xilinx in various engineering and marketing roles. Previously, Mamoon has also worked for Deutsche Bank.A native of Pakistan, Mamoon grew up in Frankfurt, Germany.
He is multi-lingual in German, Urdu and Hindi.Mamoon holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, an MS in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is also a graduate of the Kauffman Fellows Program.
Samir Kaul, Partner at Khosla Ventures and leader in the Clean Tech space
Samir grew up in a family of engineers, working summers with both his father and uncle, early pioneers in satellite communication. At the University of Maryland, Samir mey Craig Venter who had signed a historic deal with Smith Kline Beecham to identify genes responsible for human disease. Samir joined on to work on the genome of Arabidopsis thaliana, a mustard seed, which was a model organism for agricultural staples such as rice, corn and wheat. He was promoted to run the project within TIGR and internationally as the Chairperson of the Arabidopsis Genome Initiative (AGI). Under his direction, the project was completed years before schedule and culminating in a historic publication in Nature magazine December of 2000.
With a strong scientific background and experience running large project teams, Samir joined Flagship Ventures. He was involved in starting and investing companies including Helicos BioSciences, Epitome Biosystems, Codon Devices, LS9, and Morphotek.
Vinod Khosla was a seed investor in Codon. Khosla had been researching ethanol and biorefineries since 2004 and was convinced that this was the next revolution in technology. Samir was a founding general partner at Khosla Ventures focusing primarily on renewable energy on clean technologies and life sciences investing.
Samir graduated from University of Michigan with a degree in Biology and continued on graduate school in Biochemistry at the University of Maryland. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mark's focus is helping clean tech companies grow into sustainable businesses. He does this by assisting them in acquiring, developing and commercializing their technologies and products. For over twenty years, Mark has helped many leading Silicon Valley startups and public companies navigate their licensing, distribution and technology transactions. He has authored or presented numerous articles and speeches on a variety of licensing and antitrust topics relevant to technology industries, and is often quoted in industry and general media. In addition, he regularly provides educational seminars for high technology companies regarding both licensing and antitrust issues.
Mark is a graduate of Yale University and Stanford Law School.
