Driving directions to the Stanford Business School
From Highway 101 North & South
Take the Embarcadero Road exit west toward Stanford. At El Camino Real, Embarcadero turns into Galvez Street as it enters the university. Stay in the left lane and continue toward the center of campus. Galvez ends at Serra Street, where there is parking. Walk to Memorial Hall, which is across from Hoover Tower on Serra Street. Graduate School of Business (Location of Bishop Auditorium and Arbuckle Lounge) is the next building to the left of Memorial Hall.
From Highway 280 North & South
Exit Sand Hill Road east toward Stanford. Continue east, turning right at the traffic light on Santa Cruz Avenue. Make an immediate left onto Junipero Serra Boulevard. Turn left at the second stoplight, Campus Drive East. Continue around Campus Drive East and turn left when you reach Serra Street, at the gas station. Follow Serra Street until it ends at Galvez Street. Turn right onto Galvez and look for the first parking lot on the left which is a public parking lot that is adjacent to the side of Memorial Hall. Walk to Memorial Hall, which is across from Hoover Tower on Serra Street. (GSB) Graduate School of Business (location of Bishop Auditorium and Arbuckle Lounge) is the next building to the left of Memorial Hall.
From El Camino Real
Exit El Camino Real at University Avenue. Turn toward the hills (away from the center of Palo Alto). As you enter Stanford, University Avenue becomes Palm Drive. Go through one traffic light, and a stop sign, turn left on Roth Way just before entering the Oval. Park at the end of Roth Way or on Lasuen. Walk through nearest building (Littlefield Center) to the next building which is Graduate School of Business.
Parking Information
As you enter Stanford, University Avenue becomes Palm Drive. Go through one traffic light, and a stop sign. The Oval is at the end and is one way traffic -- Think of the oval as a clock… entering at 6, the Chapel and Quad are at 12, the closest parking to the (GSB) Graduate School of Business (Location of Bishop Auditorium and Arbuckle Lounge) is 10 or the left side of the Oval. The GSB is the building across the small tree filled park – look for signs.
A, C, Z, and "shared" resident/commuter lots are enforced Monday-Friday, 6 AM to 4 PM. Meters are enforced 8 AM to 4 PM. After 4 PM you can use the parking places nearest the GSB.
Parking at Stanford is free in most
places after 4 pm, but can be unpredictably busy. Plan to arrive early for extra time to find a parking spot.Park in any purple shaded areas in
map below, and follow the red line where x marks spot. The driving
directions above will take you to the purple shaded area on right side of
map, which is the closest walking distance to the Bishop Auditorium and Arbuckle Lounge.
